About

Hunky Punks Project at All Saints Church Langport
Somerset Art Works with The Churches Conservation Trust and the New Saints Young People’s Group in Langport, Somerset
The grotesque rooftop carvings of All Saints Church have inspired a community project and the spawning of a whole new generation of Hunky Punks in the form of peculiar creatures made by the young people of Langport out of fabrics and recycled materials.
Led by professional artists Sarah Dicks, Julie Roberts and Penny Dyer, the young people from Huish Academy, Langport Youth Group and Huish Primary School have participated in a series of workshops and their creations will be displayed as part of Langport Festival 01-08 June 2013.
